Etwas schreckliches passiert in Darrol ...

Ein Sturm zieht auf. Blitze zucken über den Himmel. Das Wasser tritt über die Ufer. Man hört ein lautes krachen, und die dunklen Wesen kommen. Ein heftiger Kampf beginnt, und nicht jeder wird diese Schlacht überleben. Doch die Einwohner von Darrol geben nicht auf!

Als das friedliche Darrol von bösen Wesen angegriffen wird, denken alle, sie müssten sterben. Die Einwohner der kleinen Stadt, die um einen schönen See herumliegt, fliehen. Nur ein paar bleiben und kämpfen um ihre geliebte Heimat. "Sea of Peace", so nennen sie ihre Seite des Sees. Gemeinsam versuchen sie die Überreste des einst so wundervollen Darrol vor dem Untergang zu bewahren. Doch auch die dunkle Seite gibt nicht auf. Sie nisten sich in den verlassenen Häusern ein und nennen ihre Seite des Sees: "Sea of Shadow".

Sea of Peace, so nennen sich die zurück gebliebenen Einwohner von Darrol. Sie sind sozusagen eine Verschwörung gegen das Böse. Gemeinsam versuchen sie, ihre Stadt zu retten. Sonntags treffen sie sich immer, wenn die Sonne am höchsten steht, in dem alten Mamorpalast der alten Königin. Die alte Königin wurde von der bösen Seite ermordet. Genau, die Mitglieder von Sea of Peace nennen die Bösen "Die böse Seite".

Doch wie kahm es dazu? Warum wird Darrol nach so langem Frieden angegriffen? Und vor allem: Wieso hat niemand etwas bemerkt bevor es zu spät war?

Die dunklen Wesen sind meist ehemalige Bewohner von Darrol. Doch jeder hat seine eigenen Gründe warum er das Dorf nun anfreift. Bei der Mehrzahl ist es Rache. Bei anderen ist es Machtgier und bei wieder anderen ist es ihre Lust auf einen brutalen Kampf.
